Clinical systems could not tolerate long outages, but backups were not isolated and endpoints had uneven protection.
Approach
We introduced immutable backups with tested recovery of clinical systems, deployed endpoint detection with automated containment, and ran a tabletop exercise with clinical and administrative leaders.
Outcome
Typical outcomes: tested recovery objectives for critical systems, faster containment of suspicious activity, and leaders who have rehearsed their roles.
